9/11 Live For Today

PROBLEM: I was tasked with creating something to memorialize the 9/11 attacks in NYC for the 11th anniversary with a budget of under $100. SOLUTION: We wanted to put a positive spin on the feelings of New Yorkers for the day. With the simple message "Live For Today" painted on a handful of different crosswalks throughout the city that we turned into American flags, we reminded New Yorkers that life is precious and to make the most of the day. The message went viral and became a rallying cry for the city.
